Sinopsis : The story revolves around Ting (Tony Jaa) is a naive young man from the village of Thailand. A Buddha head statue called Ong Bak is stolen from the village and town Ting is sent to Bangkok to retrieve it. There Ting met two men named Humlae gambler (Petchtai Wongkamlao) and Muay (Pumwaree Yodkamol). Humlae which formerly came from the same village with Ting Ting did not want to help find a statue of Buddha's head and even more often deceive innocent Ting. Basic Ting indeed a good heart, he's still helping Humlae when he was involved in trouble. The instructions are there to bring Ting into a dark world of the arena. Ting to make a big surprise when he managed to beat many people champion there with martial skills typical of Thailand, Muay Thai. Clearly Ting attract big fish because gamblers betting market mess.
