Sinopsis : A father and his son walk alone through burned America. Nothing moves in the ravaged landscape save the ash on the wind and water. It is cold enough to crack stones, and, when the snow falls it is gray. The sky is dark. Their destination is the warmer south, although they don’t know what, if anything, awaits them there. They have nothing: just a pistol to defend themselves against the lawless cannibalistic bands that stalk the road, the clothes they are wearing, a rusting shopping cart of scavenged food–and each other. In its way, the father tried to continue to protect the child when they encountered many obstacles and a few others who tried to disrupt and threaten their lives. The father also tried to teach their children about how to survive the rigors of life and to not easily trust others. The father was also during his way to face his own personal problems when the shadows will the wife (Charlize Theron) who walked away did not seem to want to disappear from his thoughts. Problems begin to come between the two of them when the father realized that a hostile environment with freezing temperatures turned out to make his health began to decline, which means that the death could have come to separate from the child.
